The cowshed has always been one of those restaurants that I always pass and say to myself that one day I'll give it a go and every time I go out for a meal I forget about it! I've been told many times that their steak on stone is such a fun experience and I can finally say that it definitely is!!

Happy New Year!!
2014 has flown by and just like that it's already 2015! How surreal...
Instead of looking back at how wonderful 2014 was, this year let's look ahead at what's install for 2015.

Christmas at Bill's #MonthlyMeal
Not long before Christmas now! This year, seeing as quite a few of my friends are at uni and living off their student finance, we decided that instead of exchanging gifts we'd all go out for a Christmas meal. This way we wouldn't have to faff around trying to decide what to give who and figure out what our budget is for this year...

Five Guys review #MonthlyMeal
November's #MonthlyMeal led us to the newest restaurant in Bristol! - The famous, Five Guys.
The story behind Five Guys is quite interesting, it was started by a group of five brothers hence the name Five Guys. But I don't want to bore you so there will be a link at the bottom of this post for all those that are interested with its history :)

CAU review
So apparently it's now become a "family tradition" that when someone gets a job they have to take the family out for a meal on their first pay check. This "tradition" has coincidentally started with me -.-
After a long time of humming and harring I decided that if I'm going to take my family out to dinner then I'm going to do it properly! None of that fast food or small servings rubbish, we were going to have STEAK.

La Campagnuola #MonthlyMeal
I had heard A LOT of good things about La Campagnuola so that's where we went for October's monthly meal!
La Campagnuola is situated on Zetland Road in Bristol and is a family run restaurant serving "authentic, lovingly crafted Sicilian food."

JacyandJools.co.uk
If you didn't already know, I'm a brand rep for a contemporary jewellery company called JacyandJools - so first things first (I'm the realest...sorry couldn't help myself) all opinions are definitely my own!
I became a JacyandJools brand rep in April and as a little welcome, they sent me a gift as well as a really cool (PINK) brand rep pack.
See what I mean by cool? It's pink bubble wrap...*speechless*
p.s. the ugly pink scribble was my attempt at covering my address...it didn't come with the package :P
Anyway, moving on, I got given a necklace. This wasn't just any old necklace, it was a necklace with a J on it (which is the first letter of my name, just FYI). And I love it!!
To be honest, when I first saw it I was like "it's really small :/" HOWEVER as much as I like statement necklaces, I found myself always reaching for this dinky necklace every morning when I was choosing my outfit for the day. For 5 months it has been a staple part of all my outfits and each day I love it more! In fact, I even wore it to my year 13 prom!
I'm definitely a fidgety person and always playing with my necklace, so the fact that it's still in one piece is a bonus! haha!
It's made of sterling silver on an 18 inch chain, and the initial cube is 4.5mm (so pretty dinky!). What's brilliant about this necklace is that you can buy the cubes separately, and you can make any word! Or name! Or you can keep it simple with just one cube :)
AND.... here's the best part, YOU can get 10% off anything from their shop by using JTRC at the checkout! There are some really cool festival stuff so go ahead and check it out at jacyandjools.co.uk
